The Super Eagles of Nigeria yesterday became the first team from Africa to qualify for the 2014 World Cup after defeating the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia in Calabar, Cross Rivers State to clinch a place in Brazil next year. The Super Eagles defeated Ethiopia by two goals to nil, the first goal was scored through a penalty by Victor Moses. and Victor Nsofor scored a second goal through a free kick to seal the victory of the Super Eagles fifth appearance at the World Cup.
